I would love something similar to "Twister" which featured Darling Pretty. Something commercial, yet still adaptable to films.

Hi, Fineke,
"score" means the whole of music used on a film. When CD´s are released with a soundtrack, it is often cut. Take as an example the movie "Princess Bride" and compare movie and cd. There is much more music on the movie than on the CD - of course, because a film is much longer. An example for a "score" is also the "Metroland" CD, because also songs that are used in a movie make the "score". At the "pulp fiction" score...

Thanks, Emily. That's an Orwell book I missed. Guess I'd better look it up. I hate 1984, and I'm glad MK isn't writing a score for that one. I'd hate to have to watch it. Anything that MK creates will be beautiful. I just finished a novel about the Spanish Civil War; Anarchists were not treated kindly in this book. It will be interesting to see Orwell's take. And it will be more interesting to hear MK's take on Orwell's take. :)

Shame, I haven't read that book. "Catalonia" is a spanish area, the capital is Barcelona, where Mark always plays on tour, in fact is the second most big and populated spanish city after Madrid. I've read a lot about the Spanish Civil War and the Anarchist Movement, so i am going to get that book as soon as posible. I love all Mark's sountracks and their films, that's gonna be a great movie, of course.

According to the article below, MK will be working on a new soundtrack entitled "Catalonia" (or "Homage to Catalonia") for the movie of the same name starring Colin Firth and Kevin Spacey. You can read the article below:
