Obviously many people reading this will hav many bootlegs and merchandise but i was wondering what if there is anything Knopfler related that only maybe a few

I think the Comfort and Joy record is the rarest/most valuable in record collecting circles.
Also the BiA CD single (first CD single ever!) is rare and worth a lot. |

The single for the "Screenplaying" album is also very rare. Only two tracks, "the long road" and "wild theme" (if I'm
correct).

I was in a record store in Portugal last week, and they had an original CD of Last Exit for sale, that must be rare.
The most wanted thing must be my Gold Disc of Sultans of Swing

I have a copy of the 'Comfort & Joy' 12 inch.
I have it locked behind a steel door, guarded by 4 beefy men with rifles and fierce dogs 24 hours a day.!!!!!!!! I have the DVD of the film as well. A bit cheesy, but great to watch never the less. Cheers BBB PS. I also have the 'Encores' cd, which i bought seperately, which you can put into the 'On The Night' cd |

Thinking about it, I reckon it must be Sacred Loving. The only people that I have heard who have a copy are Charlie Gillott & John Illsley.
Those who have heard it reckon it's over-rated anyway. Has anyone ever heard/seen around the Dire Straits version of Private Dancer - the cut that didin't make the LoG album?? that must be a rarity as well. |

I don't collect mfsl...but I believe there is a special version of the Brothers In Arms that has a pink cover (instead of the light blue), with the
"Live in 85" triangle logo on the bottom. Future editions had the 85/86 logo. The back was also a bit different. I believe only about a hundred
copies were produced. Definitely not "the most sort after", but I always thought it looked nice.
