Do you know whether there is somne out there or maybe its too early ?.... Would especially love the Denmark, Copenhagen part (19-04-2008 - FORUM) as they played fantastic !!.... but any other would do Cheers Peter

But Guy doesn't know if recordings will become available one way or the other. It's already been asked a lot of times but he simply doesn't know either.

However, the purpose is to improve the sound. I belive if we e-mail to Guy to ask him nicely if there will be an official CD, it would not be much trouble because they already have the recordings but they are not planning to use it for a CD yet. Perhaps if we push him a little bit, Mark will have no choice... Thank you guys for all your posts, great information. Cheers

It is that one of Amsterdam 29-03-2008 made by Waldo. I started that one at May 6th and have now about 64,1%, so I might need another week! After this download I will try to download another one and IF that takes so long also, I might ask for help! Lucky some fans already offered to burn! Tomorrow morning (Friday) I leave for a weekend to Sauerland (Germany) with the whole family, so I'll be able to download Sunday evening again! So it takes time. Now both DVD's are 100% ready with a lot of seeders so time will be deduced a lot. The best is to keep your PC on during the weekend, both DVD's on downloading and with a little luck you have them both when you're back from the weekend! Besides that you have restrictions at both sites, you are not allowed to go below a certain ratio (download-upload-ratio) so it's smart to keep all stuff open to upload to others to avoid being banned because of too low ratio! " I can't let my computer run during the night and when I am at work. I have a very old computer. It works fine, but I don't want to let it run night and day, I am afraid it might break then! Besides I also forbid my sons to let their computers run during the night, so that is why I can't do it either! I thought I was allowed to download only one CD/DVD and when that one is finished I can have another, but I see I can also download more then one, is that right? You'll get not only the 2008 boots there, but also lots of old good stuff. You can also find traders on the exchange and share, of course, but the tracker is easily the most efficient. If you need help with setting up, check the techie stuff topic or pm me or another of the mods. We'll try to help. Act fast. The SC tracker has almost reached its limit. Maybe it has by now. Let us know.

What's the consensus on the best sounding 2008 recording so far ? It's Amsterdam from what i've heard but i'd be interested to see what others thought. 2. I don't understand how trackers work as I usually use Rapidshare and Megaupload. Why do the files appear to be so big ? Most Megaupload albums are around 80MB each but the ones on the Mark Knopfler are many times bigger. Excuse my ignorance, but I hope somone can help. Cheers !

I haven't been paying attention to what gets uploaded everyday, but the ABE recording of the first night at the Royal Albert Hall sounds nice. 2.) 90% of the files included on the Spanish City tracker are lossless, so they are bigger than your megaupload downloads. "80 MB" sounds like an mp3'd CD.
