Just re-affirms the quality of the man beyond his musical genius....also my resolve to continue to spread the "word/music" of MK as far and as wide
as I can.
Dogs at the back door, leave him be, don't feed him jack and don't wait up for me..... SL1 |

Having just listened to the concert recording (upped by Pottel to whom I thank very much) the memories came flooding back. It does demonstrate however the poor
sound mix of the first 2 songs and someone has to take the blame for this. After all what is the point in a soundcheck a couple of hours before gig if we are
going to be deafened by instruments without any vocals!
Had it not been put right when it was, the evening could have been ruined for most of the fans. This really is unacceptable when you consider how much a perfectionist MK is. I wonder if he was or is aware of some of the sound problems on this tour. On another note can anyone remind me what it is Mark does during 'Going Home' when he stops playing and the fans cheer? Does he fold his arms, point/wave or shield his eyes from the lights and scan the crowd? I can't for the life of me remember. Answers on a postcard please:-) I wonder if Pottel knows this - was the person who recorded the concert sat in the middle of the front row of the balcony? Thnaks in advance. |

Yeah, MK does exactly what you suggested!

It was Martina who recorded the concert and she was in the centre stalls, about four or five rows from the front. MK waves to the crowd and blows kisses!

There's a bit in Going Home where he stops playing, turns round to Matt and mimes playing the piano, is that what you mean?
Oh, and we heard them soundchecking while we were waiting to get into the M&G, they definitely soundchecked Secondary Waltz but I can't remember what else, possibly Cannibals but I'm not certain on that one. |

drayton, If you read Guy Fletcher's Forum, you will see that this question has been asked hundreds of times and the answer is always that he doesn't
want to and he is only looking forward, not backwards. Guy is so fed up with this question that he won't answer any more!

Well, MK will be singing quite a lot, and he will be playing the guitar, sometimes quite loudly, according to Guy. The band will be playing too, rumors say.
Some kids will sing on a tune, an orcestra will join inn now and again. The album will probalby be nice, according to Richard: the best. Some will hate the
title, some will love it, some will not care at all. For more info, check out the New Album thread
