BBC One’s “Story of the Guitar” |

I've just read that BBC One will be showing a three-part series called "The Story of The Guitar" on their Imagine Show starting on Sunday, October 5th at 10:20 PM. MK will be appearing during one of the shows talking about how he looked at guitars through the shop windows.

IrisRose - and everybody else - if you go to www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer you should be able to view the programme for a week after it has aired... hope this helps! |

But I think its only available at the UK , info about the episode : Alan Yentob embarks on a three-part personal journey to discover how the guitar became the world's favourite musical instrument. Beginning with the rise of the acoustic guitar, the series takes him from an ancient Middle Eastern ancestor of the lute, to the iconic guitars draped round the necks of Bill Hailey and Elvis Presley and beyond. Featuring interviews with Bert Weedon - the man who taught Britain to 'Play in a Day', Pete Townshend, Bill Bailey, flamenco player Paco Pena and classical guitarist John Williams.

Thank you Henk! I was able to video record it, but didn't have time yet to watch.
Now I know it will be on TV next week, I'll try to record again! 
Ooohhh btw for the European people (at this site of the cannel) who want to watch, the program will be on TV one hour later, so at 11.20 pm instead of 10.20 pm, don't forget!

All three episodes are available for download via torrent on www.thebox.bz which is a great site with all bbc programs :)
I missed the last eposide myself, downloaded it last night, and will be watching it tonight :) |

and round and that is all that happens. I can never get into torrent..I figured it out even tho its Spanish, but you have to get in when its not busy and no
luck so far..but I wil keep trying this..the same thing happens for me when I go into GUy's HD Theatre..so I am not sure why..thanks again....
