What does "get lucky" mean?
When I first saw the title, I thought it was rather wicked.
Am I
right in thinking so? And what about other meanings? I think we need help from the English speaking forum members here.

The meaning of the expression "get lucky" |

I guess "get lucky" can mean different things, and we probably have to wait for the song "Get Lucky" to know (or guess) more closely what
MK is meaning by the expression in this case. If i know him right, it will never be absolutely clear to us what he means anyway. I've seen the topic being
discussed in a few other posts on the forum, but I think it would be fun and informative to gather the thoughts in one thread. So therefore:

A character in a movie I watched yesterday said this about getting lucky.. | ||

"I don't believe in luck, it diminishes a man's achievments ." or something like that..In Canada the term Get Lucky means..getting laid.

Who knows, Schmonka! LOL, I'd love to see some wicked song lyrics
Then the MK estrogen brigade would have a reason to open another silly thread

Well don't worry schmonka - there is a big difference in getting silly about an album title with a wicked meaning and mentioning explicit sexual
practices... We can of course introduce a PG rating but I don't think it will be necessary, hehe. I can't imagine MK would write about something
naughty. But OTOH, I've just remembered the lyrics of "Tall Order Baby"...

mmmm - indeed - some "interesting" lyrics i must say......MK doesnt really have to write with too much of a suggestive slant to get you women
definately thinking "outside the box".....

MK is awfully good at double entendre. Also, the gambling theme might be a metaphor for something about life. Again, he might construct the song like Ride
Across the River or All the Roadrunning, with each verse having a different meaning or situation for get lucky. Didn't he play this at that gentlemen's
club last spring. Somebody must remember.
