The rest of the set would be full of Dire Straits classics, the 6 albums that sold the majority of MK's 100M+ album sales, and a few solo classics. What do the rest of you want to hear? modern stuff or best sellers?? As an alternative list, and all songs played live previously, I would like (in no particular order):- Tunnel of Love (MK's finest moment). Telegraph Road Money for Nothing Sultans of Swing Private Investigations Setting Me Up Romeo & Juliet Walk of Life Calling Elvis Brothers in Arms Solid Rock Your latest Trick Darling Pretty Gravy Train What It Is Sailing to Philadelphia Why Aye Man Speedway Next Time I'm in Town Local Hero 22 tracks, and 2+ hours of MK at his best, and spans most of his career, all good stuff. I would love to hear that one(and many other classics that I haven't heard in 20+ years) rather than Setting Me Up (obviously from the first album) which does get trotted out from time to time, and sounds very tired to me now.

I don´t think we will hear more than one "new" (or let´s call it "unheard") song on the next tour: MK pretty much sticks to always the same tour set list routine, let´s face it. But because "Communiqué " was left out of almost every set list since 1991, it would be very nice to hear one or two tracks from that great record. And after all I read now there might be a "geordie" kind of theme on "Get Lucky", and therefore I hope to hear "Fare Thee Well Northumberland", maybe as a great opener, with Richards new bouzuki playing the very first chords, then Matt falling in with his piano, and then MK putting out the big Les Paul sound... Dreaming, Love Expresso

True until now... he did mention at the end of the last tour that next time it would be different... so maybe it was something he felt at the time and won't feel when it's time to plan for the next one, maybe he will still feel that way and we are in for something completely different!!
