Well, they had time to rehearse other songs in the past, and they are having lots of fun now, as Guy says. It's a 'fun' band and a fun band is not constantly tired--that isn't fun at all. It's also a little hard to believe that playing the exact same set night after night is a great deal of fun, but admittedly I am not a musician so I can't understand it from that perspective. I'm NOT complaining AT ALL--I think this is a fantastic setlist. No expectations for a lot of variety....of course when I enjoy something I tend to want more, that's ok isn't it? As far as I can tell MK's music is not fattening or sinful, altho I'm sure some of the female forum members might disagree. All I'm asking for is a run through of the entire catalog, about ten 'new' songs and a couple dozen cover tunes. That should be enough until the next tour......maybe.
Keep Knopflerin'
