I don't mean they are tired. I mean they haven't got a time. They can rehearse only when the equipment is put on the stage. And it is there ready for a short time - all packing/unpacking needs a lot of time - and it is every day. Guy said he couldn't believe how the crew could set that every they...And everybody needs a rest between all days traveling if even is at his/her 30th years old too. 1996 show were sometimes two hour and a half long [Vaison].
2001 saw setlists changes with sometimes 3 different tunes from one night to another.
Rehearsing have been done prior to touring, and for 18 actualy played, in fact more may have been rehearsed.
Last but not least, Mark has put together a band made of skilled musician and now they are touring together for years for a good part of them. David Gilmour in Venezia in 2006 performed "On The Turning Away" without no rehearsing at all. The song had not been played since1994 and some member did never paly it before...and that is just Rock'N'Roll after all!!! All good reasons to say that he can do it if he want to. This is just Mark's sole decision.

To end I would state that I like the current setlist so, although I will attend more shows than reason should allow, I don't mind that much the absence of variation in the setlist.

Have fun...
