Hello everyone,
I just got back from Ottawa and my first MK concert. It was wonderful. In a couple of places Mark's voice got drowned out, but overall I thought the sound was better than anything I've heard recently, including B. B. King at Roy Thompson.
Cndsailor said just about everything I was going to say and better, a couple of highlights though:
I'm in love with a piece of scrap metal. (And I got the feeling that Mark was too) Could not take my eyes off Richard's National while we waited for the concert to begin. What a beautiful sound during All that Matters!
I too loved the interaction with Danny and Richard. All of them really do feed f each other.
Although I never thought I'd see anyone who made Donald Fagen look almost chatty, I do like the concentration on the music. I really don't like flash.
Between the new Pensa and the hall acoustics Telegraph Road was superb.
I've never had such a hard time remaining seated as during Boom, Like That.

As for the tea, skip if you don't drink tea daily...
Mark referenced PG Tips which I think is available in Canada. The Glengettie definately isn't, but is available via the internet or an obliging aunt. :) I must ask Guy if he thinks it's better than Marks and Sparks extra strong (sadly no longer available in Canada).
I beautiful first time. :)
