Yes, thank you for the review. I wish more people would take the time to review the gigs on this forum.
I was at the Ottawa gig as well and the overall feeling while MK is playing is that you are listening to great music. MK is a pro and to be able to hear all those favourite tunes being played live is pure magic. I enjoyed every minute of it, yet those 2 hours went by so quickly!!! I couldnt believe it when they waved goodbye. It felt like if they had just started.
The crowd was, indeed, a listening crowd, but they roared very appreciatively between songs.
My highlights were Telegraph Road, which is not my fave song but he makes it sound so good in an atmospheric kind of way. Romeo and Juliet was pure magic. The National sounds exquisite. I loved SOS as well. Newspaper reviewers dont enjoy the changes in the solo but I sure did. MK can rock so easily, its fantastic.
The rest of the gang was brilliant as well. They all added the perfect touch to the atmosphere. It was nice to see Danny Cummings on drums after having seen him in the On the Night DVD. Way to go, Dave.

My only regret is that the sound mixing got totally saturated for Speedway at Nazareth, of all things! One the best solos! MKs guitar got completely drowned out and was barely audible through the loudness of the song.

What a wonderful show it was. We are very lucky that MK keeps touring. What an unforgettable treat!
