Pottel is right, back in the day this was the only way to get bootlegs. Now that we have the internet and it is easy to trade stuff with fans for free, or
download stuff off Dime, I don't see why anybody would want these. Just because they are pressed at a real plant, doesn't make them any more
"real" or legitimate than something that somebody made on a CD burner at home.

Could somebody intro me to what "Dime" is? I am familiar with BitTorrent's - is there a good place to find MK BT's?
***UPDATE*** Found /tracker.knopflertk.net but not sure what DIME is (don't you just love newbees?) ;-)

Collectors seem to value the original silvers...I have a few...it was the only way to get them back in the day. Growing up in NYC there were some bootleg
stores..Actually quite expensive..
All I can say now is thank goodness for sharing and the internet. |

The packaging was nice to be sure...these days..as we print our own artwork...the ink price comes into play. The price of slim jewel cases , cd's and
dvd's on sale are reasonable...the ink is another story.
On another note...do you think Mark would give me that beautiful Les Paul he plays? |
