Guy has just confirmed that the content of the deluxe box set will be as described by am012513 above. So now we really can start speculating! What will be on
the two vinyl discs? And why two? What's most likely to be on the bonus CD? I know what dice is, but what's CRAPS dice? And will a classic gig ticket
give you access to a classic gig?

According to Salvador Designs, the classic gig ticket is a limited edition replica from a Knopfler gig!

I think it's the album also on vinyl. Why two then? If I calculated right the running time of the record is around 53 minutes, so that should fit on to one
vinyl. But for example Air's Pocket Symphony on vinyl is a two disc release although the CD runs for 56 minutes roughly. So it just might be the Get Lucky
album on two vinyls. Maybe with bonus tracks?
Well I'm sure we will know quite soon. :) |

Before I buy/order the deluxe version I would like to know what exactly is on the two vinyl discs and also on the bonus disc. I wouldn't buy anything
blindly without knowing what the details are, especially when it is so expensive. I, too am not interested in a replica ticket - I have my own real ones too.

Well , really nice song .
I suppose its John McCusker on the flute , excellent. The new song is with a flute solo , not a guitar solo  .
I think MK is a great admirer from John McCusker , there was much interaction between them on the last tour. And maybe that is one of the reasons MK decided so quick after the tour to record again , because he wanted to make a cd with more from John ? Just a guess , but still . . . . Enjoy everybody ! Henk

Just played it. It's an ok track, with some great muscianship, I'm just a bit disappointed by the style. I hope the new album has some rockier stuff on
as well, to accommodate all tastes. I guess we will find out soon enough.

The streaming audio worked yesterday a "bit too well" I suppose (site was offline for a while after "it" happened), anyway. In my opinion
GL is a very nice song.

obviously one of the songs written for the crimson album. lyrics are fine, even great i wanna say. poetic. but actually GL will be a 2nd crimson album, so a
lot of people will be dissapointed again. i just can read the reviews ... (boring , ... old-fashioned..., old grandpa music) for my part - i like this song.
