I must admit the song "Get Lucky" is awesome! Even though there isn't knopflerish mind blowing guitar stuff in the tune.
Strangely enough though it makes me think about some of the music David
Knopfler has been making. The song also has something like the transparency/openess that "My Claim To Fame" has.

I have been too busy last weeks to read the forums and then I have been away for 2 weeks to Rhodes (Greece) for vacation, so I missed a lot of the
fun!
I just listened to the song Get Lucky again and it is a BEAUTIFUL song, I love it!  Although I also like music of the DS period, this is the Mark I want to
listen to. Listening to this song Get Lucky, Mark has a beautiful voice, music, great lyrics and melody. I am not sure if it is John playing the flute but I
love it. I read at the new album are as always a few different kind of styles like celtic and blues as well solo guitar parts. If that is right, then I sure am
going to love this album! 
I can't wait till it will be released official! Btw Carmelo I liked to read the interview of your German friend "heartsound" you posted at page 5. Thank you for sharing. ......Do you think she will allow me to copy and post that interview at my forum at internet radio station Audiocandy.com? I would love to share the interview there also. is anyone interested here in a review of GL? i listened to the album already twice (this is NOT the source of this illegal torrent stuff) - and as i ordered
the deluxe edition iam not bad to listen to it already because i buy the songs in sept. so - if you like i can say smth about it - otherwise i keep my secrets
close to the release , ...

I think I know from the past that you indeed can listen to the songs before release. I think it has something to do with your profession if memory serves well . Of course we have interest for your meaning about the songs ! But would you mind to keep the secrets to yourself for a while ,if possible close to release date or till someone find the first snippets on the web from cd stores (this can not be long anymore) ? It would be very much appreciated if you could do this and I hope you can understand the circumstances, this reply is certainly not meant to offend you . I like "Get Lucky". It have a calming effect on me! But, I was just trying to find new recorded concerts here the other day, and then I found a
torrent with the full album ( I asume, im waiting for the album to pop up in my mailbox). How is that even posible? Its over a month to go before the album is
released! It just makes me sad :(
