Perhaps most of you are aware that there will be several special editions of the new album. Most sites like Amazon, Play.com or CDWow are offering Get Lucky presales of differents values (some of them pretty high, about $100), so it's clear that they're special editions. But there're no details at all about the contents (some sites say CD+DVD, but nothing more). It's annoying for me (and I suppose for most people) to buy something without actually knowing what I'm buying! My question is: Why Universal and/or MK.com are hiding the details about the limited editions that actually are on (pre)sale now? It has no sense to me.

I don't think anyone is hiding something. I suppose its just a matter of time now (and organization) . Maybe its better to wait for the details and not buying anything now, after all we have enough time to order , its 2 months to the release now , so there's no need to speed up your order. Just my opinion , Henk

I found at amazon four deluxe offer with big price differences.They are all offered with the same ASIN (Amazon Product Nummer) and so contain all exactly the same items as Guy wrote in his forum. UK: 85 GBP = 98 EUROS US: 175 $ = 124 EUROS Japan: 16.436 YEN = 124 EUROS Germany: 224 EUROS !!!! The difference between UK and US and Japan could be explained by the costs for import. But the difference between UK and Germany is definitive inexplicable. Few days ago amazon offered it in Germany even for 232 EUROS. I called them about that price and the difference to UK. They promised to check and revise the offer if that price should be a mistake .... with the result ( 224 EUROS) that we now know that it was and is NO mistake and we shall pay twice as much as the others for the same items .... and obviously will get ripped off. Or what else is behind this German amazon offer ? joerg

But I wonder why they did not make their offer cheaper after checking if their price and the items are ok ? Perhaps they will add something to the box, what will be announced ( by Universal ... like last tour 2008 ) only shortly before the presale for the tickets in Germany starts. But what could that be ? Probably two VIP-tickets for a gig of your choice in Germany or tickets for a Meet&Greet ? Both could be quite interesting and be worth the additional price. I am very loathe to order/buy without more information about what we are buying, after all it is very expensive. I just don't understand the logic, because more deluxe packages would be sold if everyone knew what they were buying!

You are definitively right, Val! It would help all of us to decide on buying this box if we know the content of the bonus CD, DVD and also the 2 vinyl LPs. But perhaps this Deluxe Boxes are limited and you can count yourself lucky if you get one. This logic could explain why they see no need to tell to much details about the content. Should we consider that offer as a gambling game ? I know Amazon as a reliable company. That's why I can't believe they would sell one and the same product ( all have the same ASIN, that means they are all exactly the same products ) with such terrific different prices. So there must be understandable reasons for the additional costs in Germany. But which one ? joerg

There must, therefore, be different degrees of getting lucky, in that case. In UK we get less for £85 in the package, in US a little bit more and in Germany much more in the lucky dip! All will become clear soon!
